A collection of die-cast metal and plastic model vehicles from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear series. Each vehicle is housed in its original maroon window display box featuring the printed Matchbox logo and the text Models of Yesteryear.
The collection includes:
A Y-2 1930 4 1/2 Litre Super Charged Bentley finished in British Racing Green with a brown interior and a Union Jack flag detail on the bonnet.
A Y-21 1926 Ford Model TT van featuring the livery for Osram bulbs with a green cab and chassis and a red roof.
A Y-25 1910 Renault Type AG van with the livery for The Eagle Pencil Co. Tottenham, London on a blue and cream body. This box has a partially torn white adhesive label with the printed characters 2 3875, CIAL Y YEAR, and ST.
A second Y-25 1910 Renault Type AG van with commemorative livery for Gebr. Delhaize and Co De Leeuw featuring the dates 1867-1987 on a green and cream body.
A Y-30 1920 Model AC Mack truck featuring the livery for Arctic Ice Cream Co. Polar Brand Ice Cream with a green cab and cream rear compartment.
