Description
An Art Deco period wall clock featuring a rectangular wooden case with an oak veneer. The case is designed with three vertical glazed apertures to the lower portion, intended to show the motion of the pendulum when the clock is mounted vertically. The circular dial is finished in a cream tone and features stylised black Arabic numerals in an Art Deco font, with two winding holes indicating a two-train movement for timekeeping and striking. The dial is marked MADE IN ENGLAND at the base below the six o’clock position. The clock contains a mechanical key-wound movement and includes a detached pendulum and a winding key stored within the case.
