Description
A Meccano Ltd. Model E20 electric motor designed for use with construction sets. The motor features a metal frame with a black finish, brass gears, and brass bushings. The unit includes insulated green and yellow wiring. The motor is accompanied by its original cardboard box lid and a damaged base. The box lid is printed with the text Meccano Electric Motor E20, 20 Volt, Made in England by Meccano Ltd. The metal side plate of the motor is stamped with the mark Made in England by Meccano Ltd.
Condition report:
The black finish on the metal frame exhibits wear, scuffing, and surface oxidation. Visible corrosion is present on the metal parts and armature. The insulated wires are frayed and disconnected at the ends. The motor is in an uncleaned state and is sold as untested. The original cardboard box is in poor condition; the lid shows heavy staining, discoloration, tears, and structural losses, while the base is heavily damaged and misshapen.
