Description
A collection of three vintage baby dolls, primarily composition and hard plastic, dating from the 1930s-40s. One full-bodied doll, made of what appears to be hard plastic or composition, features painted facial details and is marked «PEDIGREE ENGLAND PAT. PENDING» on its back. Adjacent is a dark-skinned doll, entirely dismembered into a head, torso, and four limbs, also appearing to be hard plastic or composition, with visible blue elastic connecting bands. The third doll comprises a pink-toned head, likely made of composition or early plastic, marked «A.S. Germany 550-754K» on its nape, attached to a worn fabric-stuffed body with knitted booties, and accompanied by loose clothing items including a knitted top, a striped dress, and a white undergarment.
