Description
A vintage die-cast metal toy vehicle manufactured by Solido in France. This model features an aerodynamic six-wheel design characteristic of mid-20th-century land speed record vehicles. The car is constructed with a red-painted central body section integrated into a silver-toned metal fender and cabin assembly. It is fitted with six tan composition or rubber wheels mounted on metal axles. The underside of the rear fender is embossed with the Solido brand name in stylized cursive script and the block lettering MADE IN FRANCE.
Condition report:
The item is in play-worn condition. There are scattered paint chips and losses to the red finish on the central body. The unpainted silver-toned metal surfaces exhibit areas of surface oxidation and darkening consistent with age. The six wheels remain attached but show discoloration and hardening. No original packaging is present.
