Description
This is a four-disc DVD box set of the Star Wars Trilogy, released in 2004 by Lucasfilm Ltd. and distributed by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The set comprises the original trilogy of films: Episode IV: A New Hope, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. These versions are digitally restored and remastered with 5.1 Surround EX audio. A fourth bonus disc is included, containing over four hours of special features such as the documentary Empire of Dreams, character featurettes, and an Episode III preview. The collection is housed in a metallic silver cardboard slipcase. The front cover art features a composite illustration of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, R2-D2, and C-3PO, while the reverse depicts a close-up of Darth Vader’s helmet. A promotional sticker on the back indicates this was the First Time On DVD! release. The packaging includes the British Board of Film Classification PG rating symbols, identifying this as a Region 2 UK release.
