Description
A collection of Laurel and Hardy memorabilia and home media. The lot includes a large-format softcover book by Thomas Leeflang titled The World of Laurel and Hardy and a copy of The Laurel & Hardy Magazine, Volume 3, Number 9, featuring a Sons of the Desert cover illustration. Also present is A Book of 30 Postcards – Laurel and Hardy, a biographical booklet titled The Life and Times of Laurel & Hardy, and a black and white printed photographic still depicting a classic scene with a vintage motor vehicle. The media component comprises several DVD titles including March of the Wooden Soldiers, Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy – Married Life, Laurel & Hardy Christmas Special, Home Movies (featuring Lucky Dog), The Soldiers (featuring Thundering Fleas, White Wings, and A Show), and Along Came Auntie (featuring Short Kilts and Smithy). Two additional DVDs, Oliver Hardy in Bromo & Juliet and Stan Laurel in West of Hot Dog, remain in their original factory shrink-wrap. Completing the lot are an EMI Comedy Classics boxed set and a Laurel and Hardy Music Box set. All DVDs are UK PAL format releases with BBFC ratings.
