Description
A vintage Philips N1501/15 Video Cassette Recorder (VCR) manufactured in Austria. The unit features a top-loading design housed in a dark grey and black plastic casing with silver-tone accents. The control interface consists of a row of silver-tone piano-key style buttons for transport operations, alongside two grids of push-buttons for channel selection and operational modes. An integrated circular analogue clock is positioned on the top left, with a linear level meter and mechanical three-digit counter located towards the centre. Two rotary dials provide control for audio and tracking. The lower front edge carries the model designation Video Cassette Recorder N 1501 and the manufacturer name Philips. The rear of the unit features a gold specification label detailing the model type as N1 501/15, power requirements of 50 Hz and 110 W, and the serial number WRO1518006216. A blue adhesive label for a Bristol-based dealer, audio bristol ltd., is also affixed to the rear.
