Lone Star Flyers Number 28 Peugeot 404 Die-cast Model Car with Box
Description
A Lone Star Flyers Road Master Super Cars Peugeot 404 die-cast model vehicle, finished in green paint with a beige plastic interior and a steering wheel. The model features a white plastic roof rack containing four plastic skis, comprising two in red and two in light blue. This English-made scale model is equipped with low-friction race wheels and functional suspension. It includes several opening features, including a hinged bonnet (hood) and boot (trunk). The bonnet is detailed with raised characters reading 404.
The silver-tone textured baseplate is impressed with the text ROAD MASTER FLYERS SUPER CARS in a rectangular border, and PEUGEOT 404 SCALE MODEL in a second rectangular border. Additional markings to the rear underside read LONE STAR MADE IN ENGLAND.
The original illustrated cardboard box is present, featuring a yellow and black chequered pattern and a red top panel. The box is printed with LONE STAR FLYERS, number 28, and Peugeot 404. It includes descriptive text such as BETTER! FASTER! with RACE WHEELS, DIECAST METAL SCALE MODELS, and PLUS OPENING DOORS, TRUNK (Boot), HOOD (Bonnet). A small blue and white label on the end flap repeats the number 28 and the model name.
