Vintage Fun Ho! Mighty Mover Underwood Die-Cast Utility Vehicle in Original Blister Pack
Description
A vintage Fun Ho! die-cast model utility vehicle, presented in its original factory-sealed blister pack under the Underwood brand name. The vehicle is a green utility runabout (ute) featuring free-wheeling action. The model is constructed from die-cast metal with a vibrant green painted finish and black-coloured window detailing.
The item is mounted on its original illustrated card backing which features colourful graphics of construction machinery including a tractor scraper, road roller, and dump truck. The front of the card is printed with ‘Fun Ho!’, ‘MIGHTY MOVER’, and ‘Underwood’, alongside the text ‘ANOTHER QUALITY DIE-CAST MODEL FROM Underwood’. A circular logo in the bottom right corner reads ‘NEW ZEALAND MADE’. A vintage white and red adhesive price label from ‘WOOLWORTHS’ is attached to the top left corner, showing a price of ’59c’.
The reverse of the card features a list titled ‘Collect these other great models’ with descriptions for model numbers 5 through 61, including vehicles such as the ‘V.W. Combi Bus’, ‘Bedford Articulated Truck’, and ‘Holden Van’. The back also includes the Underwood brand name and states ‘Fun Ho! toys give hours of fun are light and strong and second to none’. Safety information at the bottom reads ‘CONTAINS NO LEAD’ and ‘Not Recommended for children under the age of 3’.
