Description
A vintage die-cast metal model of a Massey-Ferguson 165 tractor featuring a functional front-end loader and a mechanical engine noise simulation. The tractor is finished in red and grey paint with white detailing to the front grille and black rubber tyres. The bonnet sides bear printed white and black decals reading MASSEY-FERGUSON Multi-Power and a circular 165 logo. The model features a working shovel mechanism operated by a manual lever, allowing for lifting and tipping actions.
The piece is accompanied by its original yellow and blue card picture box. The box is printed with the Corgi Toys logo and identifies the model as MASSEY-FERGUSON 165 TRACTOR WITH SHOVEL, model number 69. Text on the blue section of the box lists features including SIMULATED ENGINE NOISE, WORKING SHOVEL, and DRIVER, and indicates the model MAY BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH CORGI MODELS No. 58, No. 61, No. 62. The box includes a printed statement MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. The mechanical clicking sound, designed to simulate engine noise, functions when the tractor is rolled across a surface.
