Corgi Toys 261 James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 Gold Die-Cast Model with Original Box
Description
A British-made die-cast scale model of the Aston Martin DB5, produced by Corgi Toys (Playcraft Toys Ltd, London) and based on the film Goldfinger. The vehicle is finished in a gold-toned metallic paint and features a red plastic interior with a seated driver figure. This model, identified on the packaging as number 261, incorporates several mechanical features including a spring-loaded ejector seat with a removable passenger figure, a retractable rear bulletproof screen, front-mounted machine guns, and telescopic bumper over-riders. The car is equipped with wire-spoke wheels and rubber tyres.
The lot includes the original cardboard packaging and inner display plinth. The inner plinth features a printed illustration of a tuxedoed James Bond beside the model number 007. The end flaps of the outer box feature cursive script reading Collect Corgi Toys and Join the Corgi Model Club.
