Lot 439:
A Collection of Miniature Teddy Bear Figurines and a Miniature Mug
Description
This lot features an assortment of miniature teddy bear figurines and a coordinating miniature mug, crafted from cast resin and ceramic with hand-painted details. The collection includes a large sitting bear holding a heart and wearing a vest decorated with floral motifs; a diorama depicting a bear in a tuxedo standing with a large lute or mandolin on a wooden-style base with sheet music; a figurine of a bear seated upon a stack of books reading an open volume; and a small bench scene featuring several tiny bears. Two individual miniature bears are also included, one in a crawling pose and one standing. The miniature ceramic mug is decorated with a printed illustration of a bear reading.
The sheet music on the lute figurine and the pages of the open book on the reading figurine contain stylized markings intended to represent text, but no legible characters or maker’s names are discernable. No factory backstamps, model numbers, or artist signatures are visible on the exterior or bases of the items in the provided images.
