Metamec Quartz Carriage Style Mantel Clock
Description
A Metamec carriage-style mantel clock featuring a quartz movement. The clock is housed in a dark wood-stained case, constructed with a brass-tone metal handle at the top and a matching metal backplate. The dial is finished in a brushed gold tone, framed by four ornate gilt-coloured scrolling corner spandrels. It features a dual-track layout with an inner ring of Roman numerals and an outer minute track marked with Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals. The hands are black and decorative, designed in a spade style. The dial is marked with the printed text METAMEC on the upper line and QUARTZ on the lower line. The reverse of the clock features a plain brass-tone metal plate with a small circular adjustment knob.
