Description
A trio of ceramic decorative items with elephant motifs. The lot includes a large planter formed as an elephant’s head with a curled trunk and flared ears, finished in a glossy white glaze. The second item is a smaller planter of similar stylised head design, featuring a pearlescent iridescent lustre finish. The third piece is a turquoise glazed figure depicting a large elephant carrying three smaller elephants upon its back. This turquoise figure features a crackle glaze finish and pierced decorative apertures along the body of the primary elephant, suggesting a possible secondary use as a tea light holder or incense burner. No maker’s marks, signatures, or backstamps are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces of the items. The undersides of the bases are not shown.
