An 18th Century Directoire Mahogany Stool. This rectangular upholstered wooden bench or stool features four tapered square-section legs in a medium-brown stained wood finish. The seat is covered in a tightly woven textile fabric with a small-scale geometric or textured pattern, presenting in red and off-white/cream tones, and is accented with decorative metal nailhead trim along the lower edge. No visible text or manufacturer’s markings are present.
