Description
A pair of three-light candelabra, crafted from gilt metal (ormolu) and polished green onyx. Each candelabrum features a central columnar shaft of variegated green onyx, flanked by two ornate, scrolled arms supporting individual candle cups. The candelabra are topped with a decorative finial depicting a bird or mythical creature. The arms are adorned with winged or foliate mounts, extending from the central shaft, which rests on an ornate, stepped square base supported by four scrolled feet. The overall style exhibits Neoclassical or Empire influences, characterized by rich ornamentation and classical motifs.
