Description
A Hollywood Regency style table lamp featuring a tapered rectangular fabric shade in an off-white hue with dark piping along its edges. The lamp’s stem is composed of a square, tapering column of dark material, likely ebonized wood or lacquered metal, richly adorned with gilt metal classical-style masks and hanging drapery swags. This central column is flanked by tiered, gilt-finished square sections at both the top, which supports an urn-shaped element, and the base. A white adhesive label affixed to the base clearly displays « Pre-Auction LIMITED » and « LOT 122 ».
Condition report:
The lamp exhibits an overall good apparent condition. Minor wear consistent with age is visible on the gilt finish, and there is slight creasing to the fabric shade.
