Description
A Victorian Marquetry Inlaid Burr Walnut Loo Table, circa 1870, accompanied by three chairs. The table features an irregularly lobed top crafted from highly figured burl wood veneer, featuring a central dark rectangular insert. Its substantial pedestal base is elaborately carved with scrolling supports. The three accompanying side chairs, likely made of dark wood such as mahogany, present a Neoclassical or Regency style. They have pierced backs adorned with distinctive inlay or painted decoration depicting urns, swags, and foliate motifs, and are fitted with light gold or beige velvet-like upholstered seats. No visible text or markings are apparent on any piece.
