Description
A traditional style upholstered two-seater sofa or settee, featuring a high, gently curved back and rolled arms. The sofa is adorned with prominent dark wood turned finials at the rear top of each arm, secured by a braided rope and tassel tie-back. It is upholstered in a woven gold-tone damask or brocade fabric with an intricate floral and foliate pattern. The sofa includes numerous matching loose cushions of various shapes and sizes. A white inventory or auction tag is visible on the front right arm, marked « LOT NO. 2251 B7 ».
Condition report:
Good used condition. The upholstery fabric appears generally clean and intact, showing some expected compression to the cushions consistent with use. Minor wear to the wood finials may be present.
