Description
A dark reddish-brown wood chest of drawers, executed in a Federal or Neoclassical revival style. The piece features a tiered arrangement of seven drawers. The top row consists of three smaller drawers: a central one adorned with a carved shell motif and a single brass-toned pull, flanked by two drawers with smaller brass-toned bail pulls. Below are four full-width, graduated drawers, each fitted with brass-toned bail pulls and decorative backplates. The front corners exhibit reeded pilasters, and the lower front apron features a central carved shell design. The piece stands on bracket feet. No specific manufacturer markings or text are visible.
