Lot 1400:
A Traditional Living Room Ensemble Comprising a Sofa, A Pair of Armchairs, and a Drop-Leaf Coffee Table
Description
A traditional living room ensemble featuring a two-seater sofa upholstered in a deep red velvet or chenille-like fabric, accompanied by two armchairs in a coordinating light taupe fabric of similar texture. All upholstered pieces are characterized by rolled arms and skirted bases, indicative of a classic or mid-20th century revival style. Centrally positioned is a rectangular drop-leaf coffee table, likely crafted from mahogany or a similar dark hardwood, exhibiting a rich, figured grain on its top and supported by a pedestal base with splayed, possibly metal-capped feet.
