Description
A pair of Louis XVI style nightstands, each featuring a rectangular white marble top with grey veining. The wooden body is veneered with a decorative parquetry pattern on each of the four drawer fronts, framed by a contrasting lighter wood border. Each drawer is fitted with a single ornate cast brass or bronze ring pull, designed as a laurel wreath or intertwined foliage. The pieces stand on four tapered wooden legs, each terminating in a small brass caster. Stylistically, they present Neoclassical or early Empire influences.
