Description
A traditional-style bedroom ensemble featuring a 180 x 200cm bed with a dark polished wood headboard, possibly mahogany, adorned with a central carved escutcheon and brass-toned decorative roundels. Above the headboard, a fabric coronet canopy is mounted, comprising a gathered floral chintz-patterned valance over a draped burnt orange interior. The bed is flanked by two matching dark wood bedside tables, each supporting a brass-toned table lamp with a cream fabric shade. A dark wood bench with an upholstered fabric seat is positioned at the foot of the bed. The overall style suggests a Neoclassical or Regency influence, indicative of a period-style reproduction.
