Description
An extensive and ornate window treatment ensemble, likely dating from a period revival style. The principal material is a heavy textile, possibly silk or a silk blend, featuring a damask or brocade-like floral and foliate pattern in tones of peach/salmon and cream. The ensemble includes elaborate gathered swags, pleated side panels, and decorative rope tie-backs adorned with large, multi-component tassels. Also included are multiple rolled sections of lighter-colored fabric, possibly linings or additional panels.
Condition report:
Overall poor condition. Significant visible wear, discoloration, and fading throughout. Extensive tearing is present in at least one major fabric section. Some rolled sections show discoloration.
