Description
A dark-stained wooden pedestal executive desk, consistent with a traditional style. The rectangular top features two recessed, likely leather or faux leather, inserts adorned with a decorative blind-tooled or gilt-style border. The desk is configured with a single central drawer and a three-drawer pedestal on the left. Each drawer is fitted with brass-toned bail handles and escutcheons. The drawer fronts and pedestal sides feature recessed paneling with a molded border. The reverse side also presents recessed paneling, indicating it is finished on all sides. No visible text or manufacturer’s markings are discernible.
Condition report:
Fair to poor condition. Significant surface wear throughout, including numerous scratches, scuffs, and dust accumulation. Prominent ring marks and stains are visible, particularly on the desktop. The wood finish is visibly worn, especially along the edges and lower portions of the pedestals.
