Description
An Art Deco five-drawer chest of drawers, dating to the early-to-mid 20th century. The piece is constructed from wood, veneered in a figured or burled wood, presenting a warm reddish-brown tone, possibly mahogany or walnut. The form is rectilinear with a subtly stepped top and softly rounded edges. Each of the five drawers is fitted with two circular, ornate metal pull handles featuring a decorative floral or shell motif, likely chrome or nickel-plated. No manufacturer’s marks or textual inscriptions are visible.
