Description
A Neoclassical style serpentine-front console table, crafted from mahogany or a similar dark hardwood. The table is supported by four tapered square-section legs. Its Neoclassical style is evident in the form and the decorative gilt metal mounts, which depict classical garlands and foliate elements adorning the frieze and leg capitals. A paper label affixed to the right front leg reads « PrAuction Limited LOT 362 ».
Condition report:
The table exhibits signs of age and use, including surface abrasions, minor scratches to the polished top, and localized areas of finish loss, particularly along edges and corners. The gilt metal mounts show some wear consistent with age.
