Description
An Early 20th Century English Federal Style serpentine-front sideboard or credenza, constructed from a dark reddish-brown mahogany with finely figured veneer panels. The design exhibits Neoclassical characteristics, featuring two central drawers and flanking bowed cupboard doors. The drawers are fitted with brass ring pulls, while the doors feature keyhole escutcheons. The piece is supported by six slender, square tapered legs. A white tag with the number « 517 » is visible hanging from the left cupboard door pull.
Condition report:
The condition is consistent with age and use, showing expected surface wear, minor scratches, and a slight dullness to the finish on the top surface. The overall structure appears sound.
