Description
A black and white photographic print depicting the racehorse ‘Charlottown’ with its jockey and entourage, likely in the winner’s circle at a racecourse. The print is inscribed by hand at the upper left with « ‘Charlottown’ Derby 1966 » and further inscribed to the right, possibly « J.ä. Lämmer. » The photograph is presented within a white mat and housed in a traditional style giltwood frame. A « Pre-Auction LOT 87 » sticker is affixed to the lower right corner of the frame.
Condition report:
The photograph appears to be in generally good condition. Some surface reflections are visible on the protective glazing. The giltwood frame shows minor wear consistent with age.
