A collection of 20 assorted vintage pins and badges, predominantly mid-20th century tin-plate and enamel. The collection is presented within a maroon, fabric-lined ‘H. SAMUEL’ branded presentation box. The pins feature a variety of English text and imagery, including advertising slogans such as « Dr Pepper The Hard Soft Drink », a political statement « NUCLEAR POWER? NO THANKS. MR DAYDREAM », and tourist souvenirs like « I’VE BEEN TO WISLEY. THE RHS GARDEN WISLEY, RIPLEY, SURREY. » Other badges depict cartoon characters, club affiliations (« MARIANNE FAN CLUB », « HUMAN ILLUSTRATED GNOMES CLUB »), and various themes such as « animal lover », « VICE-CAPT », « PETROLEUM JET », and « REGENT’S PARK ZOO LON ». Also present are several metal items, including a cast base-metal brooch shaped like a dog, a crowned regimental badge for « THE OXFORDSHIRE REGIMENT », a button marked « H. SAMUEL », and a decorative badge with the Roman numeral « XI ». The assortment also contains four plain, rounded objects in yellow, green, and pale blue/grey, appearing to be stone, resin, or plastic.
