Description
A collection of six (6) heavily circulated base metal coins from the Australian Commonwealth. The lot includes various denominations, primarily Pennies and Half Pennies, spanning the mid-20th century reigns of George VI and Elizabeth II. The coins feature inscriptions consistent with the period, including GEORGIVS VI D. G. BR. OMN. REX FIDEI DEF. IND. IMP. and ELIZABETH II. The reverse designs prominently feature the iconic kangaroo motif, characteristic of Australian coinage. One visible coin is specifically dated 1951. The coins are constructed from base metals, including copper and bronze alloys.
