Description
A collection of three Hornby Railways 00 gauge model railway rolling stock items, each housed in its original manufacturer’s window box. The assortment comprises one R.202 8 ton mineral wagon, one R.427 BR Inter-City Mk III Buffet 125 coach, and one R.422 BR Inter-City Mk III Open Second coach. The mineral wagon is finished in a reddish-brown livery featuring large white capital letters spelling BOLSOVER on the side panels. The two passenger coaches are presented in British Rail blue and grey livery with Inter-City lettering. Each item is primarily of plastic construction with metal wheels and hook-and-bar couplings. The packaging consists of cardboard boxes with transparent plastic windows. The wagon is contained in a red box with diagonal yellow and black corner stripes, with the end flap bearing a yellow printed rectangle containing the text R.202, 8. T. BOLSOVER, and MINERAL WAGON below a HORNBY RAILWAYS logo. The Buffet 125 coach is in a dark red box with an end flap printed with R.427, BR Inter-City Coach, and Mk III Buffet 125. The Open Second coach is in a red box with diagonal yellow and black corner stripes, with the end flap printed with R.422, BR Inter-City Coach, and Mk III Open Second. All boxes are marked on the side panels with 00 GAUGE SCALE MODELS and HORNBY RAILWAYS.
