Description
A collection of coins comprising United Kingdom decimal and pre-decimal issues alongside Canadian coinage. The group includes a 1977 Silver Jubilee commemorative crown, several large-sized 10 pence coins featuring the crowned lion reverse, and decimal 1 penny coins. Pre-decimal British coinage is represented by pennies featuring the seated figure of Britannia and halfpennies depicting the Golden Hind ship. A Canadian 1 cent coin is present, identifiable by the maple leaf motif. The obverses primarily feature the portraits of Queen Elizabeth II with inscriptions including ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D. The coins are struck in cupro-nickel and bronze-alloy.
