Description
A Hornby Gauge O clockwork Tank Passenger Set No. 41, manufactured by Meccano Ltd. in Liverpool, England. The set comprises a black tinplate clockwork tank locomotive marked with the « BRITISH RAILWAYS » emblem and the number « 3 82011 », two red tinplate passenger coaches (one visibly marked « GUARD » and « TO CARRY 8 TONS UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED »), and multiple sections of metal O Gauge track. These components are housed within their original red and orange cardboard box, which features a printed illustration of an express steam locomotive on the lid and internal yellow cardboard dividers.
