Description
A Louis Marx & Co. ‘Pixie Phone’ Record Player, a vintage toy housed in its original cardboard box. The box features colorful graphics depicting cartoon children, a musical clef, and notes, with prominent text identifying it as a « RECORD PLAYER » for « 78 R.P.M. », branded « by MARX », and listing « FOREIGN MOTOR » and « LOUIS MARX & CO. LTD, SWANSEA. » The player itself is constructed from red molded plastic with cream-colored accents, featuring a turntable, a playback arm with a large control knob, and a separate handset/speaker unit designed to fit into a dedicated slot.
