Description
A trio of mid-20th-century lithographed metal tins. The second is a slim, rectangular cigarette tin for W.D. & H.O. Wills, finished in green, gold, and black lithography. The lid is inscribed with The Three Castles Cigarettes and W.D. & H.O. Wills Bristol & London, alongside the text There is no sweeter tobacco comes from Virginia & no better brand than the Three Castles. The sides are marked GUARANTEED HAND MADE. The third is a small rectangular commemorative tin, likely produced for the 1953 Coronation, featuring a central oval portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II on a red ground, flanked by the Royal Standard and the Union Jack.
