A 1:43 scale die-cast model of a Ford Cortina Mk4 2.0S, produced as part of the Corgi Vanguards range by Hornby Hobbies Ltd. The model is finished in Venetian Red with a black interior and features detailed exterior trim including a front grille with auxiliary spot lamps. It carries United Kingdom registration plates reading RUK 703R, corresponding to a 1977 Ford vehicle. The model is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and remains secured to its original black display plinth. The item is housed in its original retail window box with the factory-applied protective tissue wrap still intact over the roof area. The underside of the packaging bears the Hornby Hobbies logo, manufacturing details for Margate, Kent, and a holographic Ford Official Licensed Product sticker with serial number 257696604FD.
