Lot 113:
MOKO Scale Model Builders Crane with Original Illustrated Box
Description
A vintage MOKO Builders Crane, constructed from die-cast metal with a blue painted finish. This early scale model features a detailed lattice boom and a swivel base. The hoisting mechanism is manually operated by a metal crank handle located on the side of the boom, which controls a natural fibre line and a cast metal hook. The item is accompanied by its original illustrated cardboard box. The box features printed graphics on multiple sides, including a primary illustration of the crane in use on a construction site. Legible printed text on the box identifies the maker as « MOKO » and states « MADE IN ENGLAND ». The text « SCALE MODEL » and « BUILDERS CRANE » is also clearly visible in several locations on the packaging.
