A Pair of Dapol N Gauge GWR 7-Plank Open Wagons in Original Boxes
Description
This lot comprises two N gauge model railway freight wagons manufactured by Dapol. Both items are 7-plank open wagons constructed with plastic bodies, featuring free-rolling metal wheels and axles. Each wagon is finished in a grey GWR (Great Western Railway) livery. The side of each wagon is printed with large white characters G and W, alongside smaller technical inscriptions including the wagon number 06577, Tare 6-8-2, and Load 12 Tons. One wagon features a clean finish, while the second displays a factory-applied weathered effect, simulating rust and grime across the planks and underframe. Both models are equipped with standard N gauge couplings. The items are housed in their original blue and silver cardboard window boxes, which contain protective foam and plastic inserts. A white adhesive label on the end of the top box reads 2F-071-014 GWR 7 PLANK with barcode 5 016927 616427. A similar label on the bottom box reads 2F-071-015 7 PLANK GWR WEATHERED with barcode 5 016927 003876. The Dapol brand name is printed in white on the front and ends of both boxes, and the N gauge scale is indicated by a blue N gauge logo on the silver section of the packaging.
