Lot 632:
A Collection of Carved Wooden Elephant Wall Plaques, Miniature Ceramic Elephant Candle Holders, and a Wooden Boat Model
Description
A decorative collection comprising an assortment of wood and ceramic items. The group includes two relief-carved wooden wall plaques depicting elephants with their trunks raised. The plaques are finished with a natural grain and feature light staining to accentuate the eyes, ears, and hide texture. A small mounting hole is visible near the trunk of the uppermost elephant.
An assortment of glazed white ceramic miniature elephants are included, each serving as a tea light candle holder. These pieces are hand-painted with floral and foliate motifs in a palette of green, red, pink, and yellow.
The collection is completed by a miniature wooden boat or canoe with a dark reddish-brown stain and three internal cross-beams. One end of the boat features an incised mark reading Kolbo.
