A Collection of Four Mid-Century Costume Jewellery Brooches
Description
An assortment of four vintage costume jewellery brooches featuring faceted glass rhinestones set into base metal. The group includes a circular sunburst brooch with a large central clear rhinestone surrounded by a halo of smaller clear stones in a gold-tone setting. A composite brooch features a ribbon bow motif from which is suspended a circular medallion; the medallion displays a white capital letter P on a black enamel ground. A plume or leaf spray brooch is pave-set with numerous clear rhinestones in a silver-tone setting. Completing the lot is a circular wreath brooch set with a single row of round-cut pale blue rhinestones in a silver-tone metal frame. All pieces utilize standard pin-and-catch mechanisms at the reverse.
