Vintage Spong and Co Ltd Manual Bean Slicer with Blue Hopper
Description
A vintage manual bean slicer featuring a cast metal frame with a white-painted finish. The slicer is designed for permanent bench mounting, featuring a tripod base with integral screw holes. A hand-crank mechanism is fitted with a tapered black plastic handle on a white metal arm, which operates internal slicing blades. The unit includes a detachable funnel-shaped hopper in light blue plastic. A circular mark is cast into the base of the white frame, which reads SPONG & CO LTD BASILDON ESSEX.
