Description
A writing desk and matching side chair, both exhibiting characteristics reminiscent of late 18th or early 19th-century Neoclassical or Georgian Revival design. The desk features a rectangular top with a reeded or molded edge, three shallow drawers fitted with brass bail pulls, and four square-tapered legs. The accompanying chair has a shaped top rail, a central pierced splat with quatrefoil motifs, square-tapered legs, and an upholstered seat in a light-colored, possibly woven fabric. No discernible manufacturer’s marks or textual inscriptions are visible on either piece.
