Description
A collection of Victorian Rosewood and hardwood furniture, comprising five tables, two chairs, and two chests of drawers. The tables include examples with serpentine or quatrefoil tops on cabriole legs, an oval occasional table with a glass-covered top and lower shelf, a round pedestal dining table, and an octagonal lamp table featuring reeded details and a lower tier. The chests of drawers exhibit brass hardware, with one showcasing inlaid stringing and tapered legs, and the other featuring bail handles and bracket feet. Stylistically, the pieces draw inspiration from 18th-century English designs, including Queen Anne, Chippendale, and Hepplewhite influences, or later Victorian interpretations.
