Description
A Mid-20th Century Black and Gilt Neoclassical Style Table Lamp, featuring a traditional classical-inspired vase-form base. The base is predominantly black with a dark, possibly lacquered or enameled, finish, adorned with multiple gold-toned bands and a central decorative frieze displaying a delicate, repeated pattern. The foot and neck of the base also incorporate contrasting lighter brown or gold-hued sections. It is capped with a tapered, off-white fabric empire-style lampshade.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The lampshade exhibits minor creasing.
