Description
This elaborate, multi-tiered chandelier is executed in the French Louis XV style, featuring a patinated gilt-bronze frame from which numerous clear glass or crystal prisms and pendalogues are suspended in various cascades. The fixture is a twelve-light design, incorporating electric ‘candle’ lights on its arms, and is suspended from the ceiling by a metal chain.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. All visible lights are currently illuminated. No obvious missing prisms or significant structural damage observed. Consistent with age, minor surface wear, patination to metalwork, and dust accumulation are present. Electrical components are presumed to be in working order but are not guaranteed and should be inspected by a qualified electrician prior to use.
