Lot 312:
Description
A late 19th Century French Louis XV/Rococo style walnut folding card table. This serpentine-front table is constructed from a dark, visibly grained hardwood, likely walnut, and features four carved cabriole legs with foliate carved knees and scrolled feet. It supports a shaped apron with a central carved cartouche flanked by acanthus scrolls. The tabletop is designed to fold open, revealing a larger playing surface.
Condition report:
Good used condition, consistent with age. The tabletop displays noticeable surface wear, including scratches and finish inconsistencies. Minor nicks and abrasions to legs and apron commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound.
