Description
An architectural engraving after Colen Campbell, depicting the “ELEVATION of the Principal Front of a New Building at LYTTON PARK in Hertfordshire. One of the Seats of the Right Honble Lord Dacre.” The classical-style image illustrates a grand, symmetrical country house with a columned portico and flanking wings, rendered on paper in a muted palette. It is presented in a simple rectangular giltwood frame, behind glass. A “PreAuction LOT 325” label is visible on the lower right corner of the print itself.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. Minor surface wear to the giltwood frame consistent with age. The print appears well-preserved behind glass.
