Description
An antique oak reception or shop counter, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Crafted from oak or a similar hardwood, it features traditional panelled construction and a deep plinth base. The counter is currently fitted with a modern, clear glass or acrylic protective barrier, secured by polished metal fittings. A small blue and white sticker on the left panel of the barrier reads ‘Wipe Clean / Maintain Hygiene’. The interior is configured with drawers and shelving, suitable for a reception or concierge function.
Condition report:
The desk itself is in good, used condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use, showing a beautiful aged finish. The contemporary protective barrier is clean and intact.
